As our public-sector portfolio continues to grow, we’re seeking an experienced
Salesforce Government Deployment & Implementation Lead
to strengthen our secure production delivery, implementation governance, and release management capabilities.
This is not a general Salesforce development role.
Our established delivery team is responsible for designing and building Salesforce solutions.
This specialized position serves as the trusted implementation and production lead, ensuring every
release is thoroughly assessed, documented, approved, deployed, validated, and protected against
preventable data loss, service disruption, and security risks.
About the Role
As the Salesforce Government Deployment & Implementation Lead, you’ll oversee production deployment
governance for government-focused Salesforce implementations. You’ll work closely with technical teams,
security stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure deployments meet the highest standards of quality,
compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production deployment planning and execution for Salesforce government projects.
- Establish and maintain release governance processes and deployment standards.
- Conduct deployment readiness reviews, risk assessments, and change approvals.
- Develop rollback strategies and contingency plans for production releases.
- Perform post-deployment validation and ensure system stability.
- Coordinate implementation activities across development, business, and security teams.
- Manage AppExchange package installations, upgrades, and dependency planning.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and government delivery requirements.
- Lead technical discussions with agency stakeholders, executive leadership, and project teams.
- Serve as the final quality and governance checkpoint before production deployments.
Requirements
- Active, verifiable U.S. Government security clearance.
- Demonstrated experience delivering Salesforce solutions for government agencies.
- Verifiable professional references from relevant public-sector engagements.

Advanced knowledge of AppExchange products, managed packages, package dependencies,
installations, upgrades, and release management. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to confidently lead discussions with technical teams, executives,
security personnel, and government stakeholders.

critical deployment decisions and acting as the final quality and governance checkpoint before changes
are released into protected production environments.
Location & Eligibility
- Location: Remote (Continental United States)
- Work Schedule: Availability during normal U.S. Eastern and Pacific business hours.
